Looking Forward To Challenge #4 - Leading Lines

Our fourth challenge is going to begin on Sunday, but here is Leading Lines explained. A little more food for thought as you continue taking your Architecture shots.

By definition Leading lines are lines within an image that leads the eye to another point in the image, or occasionally, out of the image. Anything with a definite line can be a leading line. Fences, bridges, even a shoreline can lead the eye. If a photographer can pair leading lines with a subject that is placed according to the rule of thirds the image should be very strong.

Leading lines can be vertical, horizontal, curved, diagonal, or converging. They can also be a combination of any of these. For more information this article might be helpful.

And another 2 youtube video's of explaination and examples of Leading Lines in photography
